Springbank by D.R. Horton - New Construction Homes

A couple weeks ago I had the pleasure of touring one of D.R. Horton's newest communities in Plainfield - Springbank. The great thing about D.R. Horton is that what you see is what you get. Unlike most new construction, if you're told the house will be $460,000, that is the cost it will be since they do not offer upgrades. Often you will follow in love with a new construction home only to find out that for your home to look like the model, you'll need to spend an additional $60,000 in upgrades. Their homes also come with all appliances, including washer and dryer, which is often not included with new construction homes. Even cooler, the oven provided for the homes in Springbank is an air fryer oven!

This community has 4 floorplans (Chatham, Fairfield, Holcombe, and Henley) and I got to personally tour the Henley model. The Henley, which is the biggest floorpan in Springbank, features 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, 2,600 sq. ft., a full basement, and is priced between $459,990-482,910. This beautiful home has an open floor plan on the first floor including a flex room that could be used as an office, dining room, family room, or whatever you want to use it for! All of the bedrooms are on the second floor, and it also has a loft. The home has 9 foot ceilings and recessed lighting throughout.

The Springbank community consists of both ranches and 2 story homes. Residents of Springbank will have access to the Springbank Aquatic Center which features multiple pools and waterslides. The community also has parks, basketball courts, tennis courts, a hockey rink, and a sand volleyball court. It is conveniently located near downtown Plainfield so you're never too far from a variety of restaurants, bars, ice cream shops, and everything else downtown Plainfield has to offer.
